Shirley Hall Dobbs, age 80, of Amelia, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 8, 2021.   She is preceded in death by her parents; Elwood and Ella Mae Hall and her husband, John.  She is survived by her son; Allen (Donna)of Dillwyn, brothers; Howard, Edward, and Charles Hall all of Chesterfield, and her sister; Doris Reams all of Chesterfield, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday Sept. 11 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following at Piedmont Baptist Cemetery.  Visiting at the funeral home Friday from 6-8PM. Contributions may be made to Piedmont Baptist Church in her memory.
