Shirley Irons Munford Spencer, passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 99. She was a loving, family-oriented woman who enjoyed hosting and cooking for family get togethers. She also found joy in watching the birds in her backyard and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her daughter Shirley Ann Flippin (Tommy), six grandchildren - Troy Flippin (Virginia), Tanya Smith (David), and Dwight Flippin (Shannon) of Amelia, Debbie Parker (James) of Alabama, Diane Hall (Darren) and Mike Munford (Yvonne) of Mississippi. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur G. Munford Sr., her second husband, Don H. Spencer, her son Wilbur G. Munford Jr. (Guy), and two great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Friday March 15 at Mt. Hope Baptist Church with funeral services set for 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
