Susan L. Gianniny age 76 of Amelia passed from this life on January 17, 2023.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James (Jimmy) Gianniny and is survived by her son Michael James Gianniny (Rebecca) and Jack Gianniny (Yvonne) both of Amelia, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; her brothers Larry Laoretti of Palm City, FL, and Fred Laoretti of Hemet, CA; her sisters Loretta Brennan of Mahopac, NY, and Dina Hitchcock of Cocoa, FL.  Susan worked at the Amelia Library for many years.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday Jan. 20, 2023 at 11:45AM with burial to follow at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery 10300 Pridesville Rd. in Amelia.  Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. In Amelia Thursday from 6-8pm.
