Teresa Redd Buchanan, age 65, of Amelia Court House, Virginia passed from this life on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lois Redd.  Teresa is survived by her husband of 30 years, Charles E. Buchanan, children, Parker Smith (Stephanie), Kelly Smith, Michael Lambert and Debra Buchanan, sister, Donna Hutchison (Rusty) and brother, James "Worth" Redd, grandchildren, Jessica, Jonathan (Brittany), Jacob, Elizabeth, Wyatt and Harrison, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Teresa  appreciated the little things in life. She was loving, loyal, an example of true grit.  She cherished spending time with her family and faithful fur babies.  Teresa was a retiree of Dominion Energy. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at the funeral home.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court Street in Amelia with graveside service to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
