Thomas Oscar Hammonds, age 89, of Jetersville, went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Irene Hammonds. He is survived by 6 children, Gail Cook of Crewe, Betty Dye of North Carolina, Thomas Hammonds Jr. of Jetersville, Sharon Little, Sandra Hall, and Clifford Hammonds all of Crewe. 19 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren. 3 Brothers, Harold of Crewe, Lewis of Pamplin, Warren of South Hill. Family will receive friends, Friday, February 26, 11:00 - 1:00PM at the Lighthouse Church of God of Prophecy, 2039 E. Patrick Henry Hwy, Burkeville, with church services following at 1:00PM.
