Valerah Dale Johnson called home to be with her Lord Jesus on June 2, 2026. She was predeceased by her Parents William D. and Jessie K. Lunn. She is survived by 2 daughters, Kimberly Hayes Pack (Jessie) and Jessica Phillips, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grand children, 2 Sisters, Billie Thomas and Myra Morgan (Roger), Brother, Kelly Lunn (Linda). Dale loved her God, her church and her family. She was a member of Amelia Baptist Church. She was a member of the Acts Sunday School class, she sang in the choir and was church Financial Secretary until her health no longer allowed her to serve.. She loved the beach, taking trips with friends & sisters, the fellowship with her class members during their monthly birthday lunches. Dale was a talented artist painting Landscapes, Birds, and Animals, sharing her works with family and friends. Many of her works adorn the walls of the church. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Amelia Baptist Church or to Enhabit Hospice, 100 Gateway Centre Pkwy, Suite 205B, North Chesterfield, Va. 23235. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the dedicated hospice workers (Crystal and Monica) for the care provided to Dale. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026 @2pm at Amelia Baptist Church. A time for visitation and light refreshments will follow in Church Ministry Center.
