Velmaleen "Honey" Warren Puryear Morris, age 86 of Amelia, passed away on May 29, 2020. A retired Dental Assistant/Receptionist, she was the widow of Williard Lee Puryear and T. Lewis Morris and was preceded in death by her sister Miladeen Hawkins and daughter in law Patsy Puryear. She is survived by her children, John (Tina) and Barry (Patsy) Puryear of Amelia, Mark Puryear of Chesterfield and Rebecca (Lester) Watson of Keysville; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Charles "Tom" Warren and James "Jimmie" Warren of Amelia; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She loved her family, her church and friends, and did what she could for all of them, and remembered years of reunions with the "Martin Clan." She served 20 years to the best of her ability as receptionist/assistant to Louis P. Manger DDS in Chesterfield. She served 27 years of faithful service to Ramsey Memorial United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, VA, and 23 years of faithful service to Trinity United Methodist Church in Amelia, VA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity UMC or your favorite charity.
