Vernell Hall Anderson, age 79, of Amelia, passed away on July 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by family.  She is survived by her husband Eldridge Monroe Anderson, Jr.; daughters Sandra Negaard (Dave) of Amelia and Susan McMillion (Scott) of NC; brother Lloyd D. Hall (Bonnie) of Amelia; grandchildren Kathy Easter, Laura Tillett, Rachael Seal, Zach McMillion and Ethan McMillion; and great-grandchildren Elena Easter, Graham Easter, Jake Oxner, Sonya Oxner, Liam Tillet, Celeste Seal and Caleb Seal.  The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St., with a chapel service at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow at Little Flock Cemetery.
