Virginia Lee Metz, age 72, of Amelia, passed from this life on Feb. 23, 2016.  Born in Allegany County Maryland to Robert Lester Swick and Eleanor Lorraine Coffman Swick.  She was a former auto parts worker with General Motors and Toyota and is survived by her sons, Robert Metz, Sr. and Russell (Vanessa) Metz both of Baltimore, her grandchildren, Robert (Anna) Metz, Jr., Joshua Metz, Lexis Metz. Also survived by her companion of 32 years Ernest "Butch" Gravley.  Funeral services 8PM on Friday Feb. 26, 2016 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with visiting beginning at 6PM.  Interment will be held later at Philos Cemetery in Westernport, Md.
