Wayne Houston Easter, 76 years old, passed from this earth on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in his home with his wife of 51 years by his side.  He is survived by his wife Grace Ann Ashman Easter and his children (3) daughters, (1) son, (5) grandchildren and (2) great grandchildren.  His children included Sherry (Jay) Dillard, Lisa (Danny) Dandridge, Sharon (Gregory) Barnard and Jason (Crystal) Easter.

Affectionately known as Byrd, he was a life-long resident of Amelia County and was a retired brick Mason.  He lived his life full of joy with a spirit of fun, humor and a twinkle in his eyes.  He was at peace and always said that he lived his life on his own terms.

The family will be accepting visitors at the Hillsman Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court Street,  Amelia Court House, Va. From 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 25.  Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00am with graveside service to follow at Salem United Methodist Church, 11221 Clementown Road, Amelia, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Amelia Rescue Squad.
