William Morgan Hauser, age 63, of Sutherland, passed away on October 2, 2012.  A Sergeant First Class, he retired with 20 years of service with the US Army while stationed at Ft. Lee and later served as a lead mechanic with Waste Management.  He is survived by his wife Sandra Sue Hauser; sons Jeremy of Richmond, Phillip of Franklin, and Joshua of Colonial Heights; daughter Danielle of Dinwiddie; brothers Herbert Hauser Jr. of VA Beach and Perry Allen Hauser of Harrisonburg; sisters Dolores McCauley of NC and Karen Simpson of Charles City; and nine grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Thursday October 4 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5 at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery
