Willie Ray Mann, age 91, of Chesterfield, passed away on February 22, 2010. He was predeceased by his wife Eunice, son Emmett, and siblings John, Stanley and Mae. He is survived by his daughter Alice Lacks (Joe); sons Richard (Beverley) and Roger (Linda) Mann; daughter in-law Carol Mann and brother June Chumney; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He retired in 1988 after 47 years as a carpenter for Biggs Antiques. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. A chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 25 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Rennie Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rennie Presbyterian Church, 6720 Dennisville Rd., Amelia, VA 23002, or your favorite charity.
