Willie Clinton Puryear, age 84, of Midlothian, passed away on July 25, 2009 following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Mallie Kennedy Puryear and daughter, Glenda of Midlothian, his son Clinton and daughter-in-law Cere Puryear of Chesterfield, and a sister, Millie Puryear Corvin of Roanoke. He was preceded in death by his three brothers: Carl, Winston and Robert Edward Puryear. He was a World War II Veteran. A private graveside service will be held at Little Flock Baptist Church in Amelia, VA 1:00 p.m. on Monday July 27, 2009.
