Wilma Inez Flippin Willis, age 92, of Amelia, Va. passed from this life on June 27, 2023.  She is preceded in death by her Husband Robert Allen Willis (Rip), her parents; Alonzo and Maggie Hill Flippin, her two sisters, Annie Sexton, Edith Young and her brother Hortense.  Wilma was retired from the insurance business where she worked as a secretary for McConaughey Insurance Agency.  Wilma and her husband Rip were longtime members of Trinity UMC in Amelia.  She was always involved with her husbands endeavors and supported him in all of his organizations such as the Amelia Lodge 101 and the Amelia Lions Club.  Viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00-8:00PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday July 1, 2023 at the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery.  Amelia Lodge 101 members will act as pallbearers.
