Obituary
Betty Lou Easter, age 85 of Amelia, passed away on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 4:15 p.m. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Ruth Reynolds and Payola Reynolds; three brothers, and three sisters and a daughter, Ejuan Campbell. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Casal Easter, and her children, Phillip Campbell, Mona Adams (Eddie), Bradley Easter (Diane), Randy “Runt” Easter (Zandti), and Shannon Sturgill (Brien). She was blessed with her grandchildren, Renea, Mell, Chad, Kim, Daniel, Chasity, Shawn, Josh, Kevin, Nicole, Hannah, Elijah, Gabriel, Benjamin and Ruth, 19 great-children, and one great-great-grandchild. Betty was born in 1938 in Sylvatus, VA and grew up surrounded by her large family; she had eight other siblings and a lot of aunts and uncles. Betty was known by many as “Bossy” and loved her family and friends very much. The family held a private service and graveside ceremony Friday (Jan. 27). A memorial service is to be held at a later date.
