Obituary

Bradley Lee Deane, age 85 of Jetersville, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2023, surrounded by family. Bradley was a veteran of the US National Guard and he was a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 666. He was preceded in death by his parents Carol Payne and Edith Cash Deane, brother Calvin Deane, and his first wife Evelyn S. Deane. He is survived by his wife Betty Deane; his sons Keith (Lisa), and David; daughter Karen (Mark); brother Cecil and sister Carolyn; grandchildren Lauryn Jones, Jessica Cole and Natasha Goode, and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 26, from 5:30-7:30 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m., with interment at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 27 at Dale Memorial Park in Chesterfield.
