Rest in eternal peace with the Lord, Dad. One day I imagine seeing you and Mom again there in Heaven. Love you so much. You were loved.

Thank you Dad for everything you have done for me and for Joe. You are a strong man and you will be in my heart and soul forever. Not even death can remove your impact on my life and the love I will always have for you. Thank you for being a great father, veteran, and a great American. I know you are with the Lord now. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Your funeral was amazing and I received the folded flag for your service. A true honor with tears and chills at that moment. I love you, and Joe does too. Until we see you again, I’ll remember our fishing together and looking for lots and land and all the other adventures. As you say, “I’ll see you on the other side” Yes dad, I do have my ticket bought and punched. xo

Dad, thank you for your service to our great nation. You loved America and believed in freedom and democracy.  You taught me to stand for the American Flag and to respect the men and women who fight to make us free. You have taken your station among those we remember on Memorial Day. I salute you U.S. Army Corporal, Veteran of the Korean War. I love you, dad.

Liz and Jan. We are very sorry to hear about Duffy's passing.  It has been a long time since we have seen each other, but, I have fond memories of seeing you guys in the summers of our youth.
Our prayers and condolences are sent to you and hope God's peace is with you at this time.

Thank you for reminding me of the fun times we had during summer visits. I loved coming to Grandma Porter's house and your house to visit with your mom and dad, and you and Debbie. I truly miss the joy from those trips to see everyone. And now, I miss my dad and mom. I appreciate you thinking of us. I have never met Janet, but Marvin has told me that she is one of the sweetest people he knows. Trust in the LORD, and he will protect you. Rely on his power and wisdom in your life and serve him every day.

It was so good to hear from you. Every time I watch the Walton's, I think of the happiness I felt when we were at Grandma's and Grandpa's house with all our relatives gathered around. It was wonderful to hear Uncle Charles tell his tales, Uncle Everett play his guitar and Ruby and Ruth sing their hymns. Times like that made me feel part of something special, a family that loved each other very much. I am very sad that dad and mom have passed, but I am happy they are reunited with the family that has gone on before them.  Psalm 16:3 How excellent are the Lord's faithful people! My greatest pleasure is to be with them. Love and Peace to You.
