Obituary
Donald Edward White died March 1, 2023. The son of Emma and Edward White, Donald was born and raised in Plymouth, MA. He was an Air Force Veteran and served in the Korean War and was stationed in Okinawa Japan. He was employed by the Brockton VA Medical Center for 32 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor White and is survived in death by his daughters Patty Harpine and Kathy Severtsen, and her son, Michael White. He is also survived by family members, Donna Fritz, Robert MacDougall, Linda Stout and her daughter, John and Kathy Carton and their children, and Maureen and Ken Brown. Don also leaves behind many friends who will miss him.
The family will receive friends on Monday March 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court Street, Amelia, VA 23002. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon, and following the service, interment with military honors will be held at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia Court House, VA 23002.
