Elbert Ray Braswell

Elbert Ray Braswell, age 84 of Amelia, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2022. He is survived by his wife Brenda; children Debbie Fulcher of McKenney, Karen Ellis of Midlothian, and Chris Braswell of Amelia; grandchildren Tim Braswell, Jordan Ellis and Colin Ellis.  He is preceded in death by his son; Mike Braswell. Elbert was a US Army Veteran, a retired minister for Amelia Church of God and he worked in the Norfolk Navy Shipyards.  The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24 at Amelia Church of God, 18501 W. Pridesville Rd. in Amelia.  A church service at 12 noon at the church will conclude with interment at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. The family requests that all attendees wear masks while inside during the church services,
