Obituary

Forbes Jackson McManus, of Amelia, Va.  passed from this life on March 26, 2023 at the age of 35. He is survived by his parents, Donald Ray McManus and Patricia Brooks McManus; stepmother, Hope Dyer McManus; stepbrother, Jeremiah Nathaniel Worley; and stepsister, Austyn Mae Jones.. Forbes worked in the towing industry for many years and was a very skilled tow truck driver, but most recently he was employed at S&S Rigging in Petersburg, Va. He was a country boy with a southern soul and enjoyed spending time outdoors. During football season, he would avidly watch the Georgia Bulldogs and cheer them to victory. Go Dawgs! He relished the opportunity to spend time with his beloved family, friends, and his Great Dane Roxy who recently joined him in Heaven. Forbes was a kind and thoughtful man and will be remembered by the many lives he touched.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the American Legion Auxiliary 186, 901 Otterdale Rd.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the International Towing Museum Survivor Fund, 3315 Broad Street Chattanooga, TN 37408
