Herbert Walker O'Berry, Jr., age 60, of Amelia, passed of this life on May 25, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his father Herbert Walker, O'Berry, Sr., brother-in-law Steve Caldwell and niece Elizabeth "Eli" Caldwell and  is survived by his mother, Shirley (Al) Paustenbach of Amelia, stepmother, Mary O'Berry-Bogar, his sons, Scott (Krystal), Matthew, and Michael O'Berry all of Chesterfield, sisters, Debra (Gene) Vincent of Amelia, Teresa Caldwell, of Montpelier, Va., brother, Tommy Thompson of Henrico, Va., his grandchildren, Ryan, Savannah, Austin, Paul, Skyler, Nathan, Julian, Tristan, Rebecca, Michael Jr., Emily, Cynthia and Abby, and his nieces Mallory, Katherine, Tracey and Jessica and nephew Gene Jr.  Funeral services 12Noon on June 1, 2017 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 10300 Pridesville Rd. in Amelia with military honors.  Visiting one hour prior to the service beginning at 11AM on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to DAV Charitable Service Trust (cst.dav.org) or Tabernacle United Methodist Church, PO Box 263, Amelia, Va., 23002.
