Isaac Lewis Guthrie

Isaac Lewis Guthrie, age 8 of Amelia, passed away on September 25, 2016.  He is survived by his parents Andrew Lewis Guthrie and Terry Nicole Guthrie of Amelia; grandparents Terry and Marjorie Jimerson and Marcie (Gus) and Sherry Guthrie, all of Amelia; great grandmother Pearl F. Clifton of Amelia and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Isaac was a 3rd grade student at Amelia Elementary School.  The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 28 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A chapel service is set for 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mt. Hope Baptist Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
