John Lesley Willoughby

John L. Willoughby, age 78, of Amelia, passed from this life on December 26, 2020  In addition to being a retired RIC police officer and owner of Willoughby Tree Service he was a member of Skinquarter Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years Sheila Willoughby, children,  Hedy Keller (Steve), Terri Willoughby, John F. Willoughby, Jennifer Holloway, and Christopher Gellen, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. And other special friends including Kevin Dawson.   Private services will be held at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery with military honors.  In lieu of flowers contributions maybe made to the family to offset expenses vis Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home.
