Judith (Llewellyn) Belcher

Judith “Judy”Llewellyn Belcher, 76 of Amelia passed away on Mach 26, 2020.

Judy was pre-deceased by her husband, Gary R. Belcher, Jr. and her parents, Joyce and Lucy Mae Llewellyn and her beloved dachshund, “Miss Piggy”.

Judy was a native of Amelia and a graduate from Amelia County High School.  After graduation, she attended business school and began a career as salesperson at Thalhimers.  She married Gary and moved to Hopewell, VA.  There she worked as a pharmacy clerk at Central Drug.  Upon her retirement, she returned to Amelia.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Robin Duncan of Hopewell, VA,  her son, Gary R. Belcher, III of Wilson, VA, her grand-daughter, Danielle L. Billings of Hopewell and honorary grandson, Harley Spaulding of Vermont, her sisters Elaine L. Adams (Donald) and Cathy L. Banton (James) and brothers S. Edwin Llewellyn(Carol) and Jeffrey M. Llewellyn (Ginger) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation or your local animal shelter.
