Julia N. (Nowell) Dillard

 Julia Nowell Dillard, age 81, of South Prince George, Va., passed from this life on March 22, 2023.   She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Ronald Lee Dillard and son Ronald Lee Dillard, Jr. and is survived by her children; Kim Perkins, Rhonda Glass (Jimmy), Tammy Hall (Ron), Ernest Dillard (Brittney), her grandchildren, Jamie Gay (Steven), Robyn Zeh (Joshua), Mikayla Crookshanks, Joshua Crookshanks, Robert Dillard (Ana), Emilee Fortune, Madison Dillard, Kayleigh Dillard, Luke Dillard, Walker Dillard, Olivia Carpenter, great grandchildren, Elijah Gay, Hoyt Gay, Everett Gay.  Julia was a founding member of the Prince George Women's Club from 1983 until her passing. In 2018 she was recognized for her outstanding contributions and awarded Member Ameritus status. From there she continued to serve as a motivator and inspiration to other members. Julia was also a member of the Prince George Historical Society.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday March 25 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following in Little Flock Baptist Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
