Magnotti, Kay L., 82 - of Blackstone, VA and formerly Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Friday December 4, 2020. Originally a native of Spring Cty, PA, she was the daughter of a full-time Navy serviceman which led her from Pottstown, PA to as far away as the Guantanamo Naval Base in Cuba.
Mrs. Magnotti worked as a telephone operator, clerk typist, bottle packer, teacher and most importantly was a devoted wife and loving mother. Kay graduated from West Chester State College in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education. Her hobbies included sports, music, art, crocheting and needlecraft.
Mrs. Magnotti was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Essie Gennaria; sister, Faye; and husband, Daniel. She is survived by three children, Stephen, Robert (Carolyn), and Christopher (Ying); four grandchildren, Alexander, George, Katherine, and William; siblings, Terry Gennaria and Joanne Dinnocenti; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Kay will be remembered as being generous and sociable while possessing strong convictions. She was loved and will be missed by many, particularly her children and grandchildren. Private services are planned for Friday, December 11th at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
