With the courage of a warrior, and the faith of a saint, Kim Pardue Swearengin left this world on April 8, 2021 at 56 years old to join our Lord in heaven, after a nearly 8-year battle with Ovarian Cancer. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Allen Swearengin of Amelia, Va., Her children, daughter Crystal Poole (Jimmy) of Amelia, Her son Juston Havens (Ashley), of Chesterfield, Her grandchildren “Granny’s Gang”, Emma Boo, Landen, James, Liam, Rylee, Keagon and Lainey LaRue (Wild Thang). She is also survived by her parents, Diana and Tommy Pardue of Boydton, VA. Her sister Susan Kiefer and her daughters Morgan (Michael) and Taylor. Her brother Jon Pardue and his children, Kelsey and Evan. Kim is also survived by her in-laws, Joan and Ray Swearengin and Brother-in-law Steve, all of Nottoway, VA. Kim is also survived by many other relatives and an enormous number of friends that loved her dearly. Kim was originally from Clarksville, TN. Later her family relocated to Chester, VA. In the early 90s she moved to Amelia. On June 19, 1999 she married Allen Swearengin. She started and successfully ran Total Package Cleaning and when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she passed it down to her daughter. Kim became an extreme educational advocate for The Silent Killer Ovarian Cancer. She met people all over the world as she strived to educate all those who did not know, to be able to identify the signs, symptoms for this toxic Cancer. She never met anyone that did not become her friend. She has become an inspiration for all types of people in all walks of life. Her family has always been her main priority and she enjoys spending time with them and making as many memories as possible that she can. She acquired a love for traveling and loved taking pictures along the way. One trip she took with Allen was from the East Coast to the West Coast. All of her trips were journaled on her Facebook Pages “Kim Pardue Swearengin” “73 &T, Go Big or Go Home, We’ve only just begun” “Granny’s Gang” and “Teal Life, Ovarian Cancer Awareness” It was her way of taking all of us on all her trips and adventures. I am sure that if you can take pictures in Heaven, Kim will find a way to share them with us. Heaven had truly gained an Angel! Kim, you will always be loved and missed! Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Christ Family Outreach 12300 Five Forks Road in Amelia, Va. with a graveside service following at the Amelia Presbyterian Church Cemetery 16401 Dunn Street in Amelia, Va., Visitation will be held on Monday April 12, 2021 at the Christ Family Outreach from 4:00-7:00PM. Following the committal at the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery the family will gather at the Veterans Center 16440 Five Forks Road for a celebration of Kim's Life.
