Deepest sympathy to all of the family in the passing of your father, Mr. Scott. He lived a long and successful life and leaves behind a legacy and lots of memories for you to cherish. I am so grateful for the way he was so good to my mother for the many years she worked for him. May God be with you all during this time.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Leander who has been so influential in our community. My mother and Leader were born in the same year and were in school together. Mom often talked about sending notes in the elementary school. Mom has been in the Amelia Nursing Home for the past 5 years. Leander visited the Home each Sunday to speak to his friends. He usually saw Mom at breakfast where he would lean over and kiss her on the forehead. She often joked about not washing that spot. Leander's visit meant a lot to her and he will be missed by her and many others. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.

To my Poor Pa, to many you were a close friend or a business partner. To me, you were the best grandfather I could’ve ever asked for in my life. You taught me what it means to be a man, not just any man either, a southern gentleman. You taught me everything there is to know about the tree farming industry. There’s so many things that you taught me in my 26 years of life I can’t list them all. I will carry you with me the rest of my life. Now my grandparents are reunited again and heaven is rejoicing. I love you Pa and I will miss you so much and I will always be that little boy sitting on your lap learning to play solitaire. Rest in Paradise Pa I love you.
