Lillie Milliner (Smith) Harver

Lillie Milliner Harver, 83, of Amelia passed peacefully in her home on the evening of March 7, 2019.  She was surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

Lillie Mae or Nana to most is survived by her 14 children:  Sibbie Milliner Jr. (Virginia), Curtis (Teresa) both of Amelia, Terry (Chris) of Chesterfield, Ray (Leeann) of Nottoway, Herbert (Movida) of Dinwiddie, Damon (Tracy) of Amelia, Becky Lewis (Raymond), Marie Harrison (L.F.) both of Diniwiddie, Robin Whitaker (David), Ann Waldrop (David Poore), Debbie Milliner (Bubba Bishop) all of Amelia, Carol Webb (Ricky) of Crewe, Crystal Epley of Midlothian, and Sheila Pollay (Rob) of Moseley, 28 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Mecie and Melvin Smith, sisters Elizabeth, Christine, Jeraldine, Odell; Brothers Marshall, Earl, Owen, Clint, Clarence, Ed, Lee, Frank and her husbands Sibbie Milliner Sr. and Maurice Harver.

Devoted to her large family, Lillie touched the lives of many. Whether it was by fixing a hot meal for company or by one of her stories about the good ol days, she was sure to put a smile on your face. When not in the kitchen, she would be found outdoors working in her vegetable garden or weeding her flower beds.

A Mother, Nana, Aunt and friend, she will be remembered for her strength, courage, wisdom, and undying love for her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday March 12, 2019 6-8pm and the family welcomes you to come celebrate the life of Lillie Mae on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home. 16409 Court Street in Amelia with a graveside service following at Lakeview Cemetery in Blackstone, Va.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the American Heart Association.
