Linwood Andrew Paxton, age 86 of Amelia, passed away on October 26, 2022. Linwood was predeceased by his wife Dorris. He is survived by his daughter Teresa Wilburn of Amelia; grandson Ronnie Kieper (Stephanie) of Amelia; great-grandchildren Tinsley and Kyleigh Kieper; and sister Linda Clark of Clifton Forge, VA.  The family will receive friends on Sunday October 30 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 2, at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston, VA .
