Nesha (Wolosewicz) Childress

Went to be with her Heavenly Father May 13th, 2023 following a long illness.  Born In Woodbury, New Jersey and a long-time resident of Carneys Point, New Jersey, Nesha relocated to Amelia Court House with her husband, William “Bill” Childress in December, 2005.  Nesha is survived by her Husband, Bill; their daughter, Emily Paige Miller; her parents, Nikolaj and Pamela Wolosewicz; brother Nikolaj Wolosewicz (Brooke), nephews Zachary Tyler Johnson, Thomas Nikolaj and Jacob Wrigley Wolosewicz, and niece Caleigh Margaret Wolosewicz.  She also leaves behind many friends and acquaintances she met at her job and the community service organizations of which she was a part.  Nesha was an avid outdoorswoman, and her favorite pastime was sitting next to a bonfire enjoying the activity of God’s creatures in the evening.  Nesha loved to work outdoors in her garden in her spare time.  She also loved to cook on her smoker or barbecue year-round, and often traded recipes with her good friend and work colleague J Tomlinson.  She was also an avid shooter and fisherwoman.  Nesha was fond of reading any Stephen King novel and any movie based on King’s novels.  She also loved classic rock, especially anything by Queen, and especially Fat Bottom Girls, and Metallica’s Enter Sandman.  Services will be held 11AM on Saturday May 27th at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home in Amelia Court House.  A celebration of her life is tentatively being planned for Saturday September 2nd at her family’s Carney Point, New Jersey home.
