Ralph Hellmer, Jr. Obituary

Ralph George Hellmer, Jr was born on March 24, 1956 and went to be with Jesus in the early morning hours on February 3, 2022.
He is survived by his wife Janice, a daughter Rebekah  Barnes, a son Ryan Hellmer and his wife Tara, a brother  Keith  Hellmer and his wife Melanie. Ralph was the son of the late Ralph George Hellmer, Sr and the late Vera Foglio Hellmer.  He was preceded in death by his brother Craig Hellmer and a niece Isabel Allen Hellmer. He was a graduate of Wofford University and was born in Washington, D.C. He loved his church family and had never felt so included, loved and accepted as he did at Hope Chapel Foursquare Church. He and his wife moved from Chesterfield to Amelia in 2014.  He worked at Pool Wizard in Farmville.  He loved remodeling his house into his wife's dream farmhouse-style home.  He had just completed his last project  a week ago and had started a major project on the day of his passing.
That personified Ralph's entire life.  Doing things for others, always wanting to help and trying to make things better for everyone. He was totally selfless and would give a word of encouragement or engage in long conversations with all that he met. You walked away from Ralph challenged mentally and encouraged spiritually.
Ralph left an indelible impression on everyone he encountered. You could never forget Ralph's quirky personality and inquisitive mind.
He loved his church family and had never felt so included, loved and accepted as he did at Hope. He left this earth far too soon, but his memory will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He loved audio and is in heaven trying to find the "perfect frequency" of the heavenly sound system.  He is rejoicing with the angels and would encourage everyone to love & serve the Lord and love each other deeply.

In lieu of flowers he would desire gifts be made in his memory to Hope Chapel Foursquare, PO Box 871, Amelia Courthouse Virginia 23002
