Mrs. Willis and Family,
My sincere condolences to you and your family. Mr. Willis was the first Barber to cut my hair early 1960’s I remember as a youngster how comfortable he made me feel. He cut my hair many times after wards and even after I joined the Navy in 1976 whenever I was back in Amelia would stop by and have him cut my hair. We talked about joining the Navy and what it meant to serve our country and how proud he was to have served. In January 2013 I was fortunate to see Mr Willis after 40 plus years and had a great conversation about Navy Life and what it meant and means to have the honor of serving the United States Of America. I learned all the great things he did after his time in service to our great Country. To the family may God provide you comfort as you walk this difficult journey. To my shipmate and Friend “Fair Winds And Falling Seas”. Thank you Sir for you outstanding service to America. You Did Good!!!!!
