Steven Thomas Prevette. Sr.

Steven Thomas Prevette, Sr. age 67 of Amelia, passed away on September 15, 2021.  He is survived by his chidren, Dana Young of Amelia, Steven Prevette Jr. of Chesterfield, David Prevette of Powhatan, Jonathan Prevette of Amelia, Sally Prevette of Chesterfield and Steven Simpson of New Kent; brothers Ronnie Prevette and Ricky Prevette, both of Martinsville; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Steven was a construction worker all his life and loved hunting and fishing and loved his children and grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Saturday September 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with a Celebration of Life at Dana's house, 9770 South Genito Rd., Amelia, VA 23002 to follow.
