Thomas Eugene O'Neal, Jr.

Thomas Eugene O’Neal, Jr. age 87, of Powhatan formerly of Amelia, Va. passed from this life on March 11, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his wife; Gloria Barnard O’Neal and his father; Thomas Eugene O’Neal, Sr. and his mother, Violet Snow O’Neal.  Thomas was retired from the Virginia State Police where he was computer systems engineer  and also served in the US Air Force.  He is survived by his daughter, Pamela O’Neal of Powhatan, his son Eric O’Neal of Richmond, his sister, Hilda Clarke of Amelia, one grandchild Collin O’Neal and two nephews, Kevin and Greg Clarke.   Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday March 15, at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial following at Little Flock Baptist Cemetery.  Visiting at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8PM.
