Violet June (Bell) Colbert

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. It’s hard to go through this pain, but I hope you may find comfort in knowing that God cares about how you feel and that He promises that “there is going to be a resurrection.” (Acts 24:15) (1 Peter 5:7) Won’t that be wonderful to see our loved ones again! I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.

June was such a special lady to me. I couldn't have done half of what I did in the kitchen at Woodlake without her. I was just talking about her at the beach on Sunday. I was remembering how she had tracked down a physician to help me with afib. I was on vacation at the very same beach about 8 or 9 years ago, and she called me to tell me that I was going to see this doc and she would make sure I got there....no discussion!
 I loved June and Philip so much. They were quite the pair.  We spent lots of time laughing, working hard, and having an adventure or two! My hope is that they are sitting together on a porch, holding hands, watching the rain, and talking about their family.
My love to all her family and prayers for sweet memories to be shared always.
